Decluttering through Grief
Honouring your loved one's possessions
Guernsey, Channel Islands
At The Magic Touch, we support bereaved clients with the difficult process of sorting through their loved one‘s belongings.
Losing someone we love can be one of the most difficult life events we’ll face. In the midst of grief, having to sort through a house full of the possessions that once belonged to your loved one, or someone you knew, can often be overwhelming. We are here to help.

At The Magic Touch in Guernsey, Channel Islands, we support our clients by taking on the process of sorting through belongings with sensitivity and compassion. Once you have decided which items and possessions you would like to keep, The Magic Touch will undertake a compassionate sort of the remaining belongings, carefully packaging them for distribution to island based charities where the items will go on to help others, or be appropriately recycled or disposed of.
If you have experienced loss and you're not sure where to begin in sorting through your loved one's belongings, The Magic Touch is here to help.

Carry our values into this sacred work
With our work, your loved one’s property and belongings are in safe hands. To honour their belongings, and to support you during this transition, we offer these additional services (optional and complementary): producing a Memory Book of sentimental items which hold dear to you, but you may not be in a position to rehome yourself; a closing Honouring Ceremony respecting your loved one, their property and their belongings and an Emotional Freedom Technique session to be used as a self help tool through the process.
